The European Systems Union holds its next Congress under the patronage of Unesco from September 19 to 22, 2005, in Paris (France). (See details at: www.afscet.asso.fr )
In the context of this 6th European Congress on Systems Science, we organize a Workshop on the subject: "Systems Epistemology".
The origin of this proposal is our conviction that the interpretation and management of the problems of our society do not need only improvements of the systems theories, but also – and above all – a critical study of the epistemological foundations on which modern science is built, as well as a serious questioning of the worldview which stems from it.
People interested by this theme have been invited to participate to this meeting and to send a brief summary of their contribution by May 31, 2005 to the Congress organizers at: emmanuel.nunez@wanadoo.fr
